The equipment used in rice bran oil solvent extraction plant

1. Rice bran solvent extraction part:

In extractor, soak or spray organic solvent (n-hexane) on processed rice bran to dissolve oil. Then you will get two parts: one is the mixture of solvent and rice bran oil, called miscella, then other is the mixture of solvent and meal, called wet meal.

2. Wet meal DTDC system:

The wet meal from extractor will be sent in to DTDC system, which means desolventizing, toasting, drying and cooling four steps are in one machine. It is mainly used to separate the solvent from the meal, then the dried meal will be sent to meal silo for storage or sold to make animal feed. The solvent will be also recycled and reused in the last part--solvent recovery part.

3. Miscella processing part:

This part is to separate the solvent from miscella by first evaporation, second evaporation and stripping. And then the pure crude rice bran oil will be pumped into oil tank, and the solvent will be recycled and reused in the last part--solvent recovery part.

4. Solvents recovery part:

This part is to recycle the solvent from miscella processing part and wet meal DTDC system, and then reuse in next production. Usually to process 1T rice bran, the solvent ratio is 0.8-1.2. Besides, the loss of solvent oil is very little, you may need add a few every few months.
